• Usage data: In-app behaviour, such as features you use and how often you use them

• Profile information: Name, username, profile picture, bio, and schedule, if provided by you

We do not collect:

• Contact lists

• Location data unless permitted by you

• Financial or sensitive personal data

• Data from other apps or services unless explicitly permitted by you

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

• Help you discover music and playlists aligned with your taste

• Enable social features like reposting and playlist sharing

• Improve overall app performance and experience

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third-parties.

3. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not share your personal data with advertisers or third-party analytics providers for tracking purposes. We may share anonymized, aggregated usage data to help improve our app or for internal research.

4. Your Control

You have full control over your data:

• You can edit or delete your playlists and profile info at any time

• You can delete your account at anytime through the Harmonize app

• You can opt out of non-essential notifications and features within your settings

• You can disconnect any connected music service at any time, as described in Section 5

5. Connected Music Services

Harmonize Music lets you connect third-party music services so you can bring your existing library and listening activity into the app. If you choose to connect one of these services, additional terms apply as set out below:

YouTube

Harmonize Music uses YouTube API Services. By connecting YouTube within the app, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms) and the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). Any data we retrieve through the YouTube API is cached for a maximum of 30 days, after which it is deleted or refreshed. You can revoke Harmonize Music's access to your YouTube data at any time via the Google security settings page (https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions).

Spotify

Harmonize Music uses the Spotify Web API. By connecting Spotify within the app, you agree to be bound by the Spotify Developer Terms (https://developer.spotify.com/terms) and the Spotify Privacy Policy (https://www.spotify.com/legal/privacy-policy/). Any data we retrieve through the Spotify API is cached for a maximum of 30 days, after which it is deleted or refreshed. You can disconnect Harmonize Music from your Spotify account at any time via your Spotify account settings, under Apps (https://www.spotify.com/account/apps/).

Apple Music

Harmonize Music uses Apple's MusicKit and Apple Music API. By connecting Apple Music within the app, you agree to be bound by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/) and the Apple Privacy Policy (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/). Any data we retrieve through the Apple Music API is cached for a maximum of 30 days, after which it is deleted or refreshed. You can revoke Harmonize Music's access to your Apple Music data at any time via your Apple ID account settings, under Media & Purchases, or at appleid.apple.com.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable safeguards to protect your data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. While no system is 100% secure, we take your privacy seriously and regularly review our security practices.

7. Children’s Privacy

Harmonize is not intended for users under 16 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we’ve collected data from a child, please contact us immediately.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we’ll notify you through the app or via email. Your continued use of Harmonize means you accept the updated policy.
